  • 12 Piece of oysters

  • 3 tablespoons clam juice

  • 4 tablespoons butter

  • 1 tablespoon of flour

  • 0.5 cup parsley

  • 1 bunch of basil leaf

  • 1 Cup of Manchego cheese

  • 1 pinch of salt

  • 1 pinch of pepper

  • 2 Piece of garlic clove

  • 0.25 cup of grain salt

Oysters gratin with basil

  • Preheat your oven to 180ºC.

  • Place the grain salt in a baking dish and reserve.

  • Separate the oysters from the shells and put them to drain, reserve the juice and mix it with the clam.

  • Melt the butter in a frying pan, toss it with garlic and lightly brown.

  • Add flour and mix until integrated.

  • Blend parsley and basil together with the juice you reserved, return to the pan, correct the flavor with salt and pepper.

  • Lower the heat, cook, stirring occasionally, until the sauce thickens.

  • Place the oysters back in their shells, bathe them with the sauce you prepared, cover with Manchego cheese and transfer to the plate with salt.

  • Bake until the cheese is gratinated and browned. Serve immediately out of the oven. Share and enjoy.
